Text Message (SMS) Terms
Residents of Millennium Tower Boston can choose to receive building updates by text message. Texts are optional, sent only to residents who opt in, and can be stopped at any time by replying STOP.
The program
The Millennium Tower Boston Resident Alerts text-message program is operated by Millennium Partners Management LLC ("Millennium," "we," or "us"), the operator of the MTB Here mobile application (the "App"), for residents of Millennium Tower Boston at One Franklin Street, Boston, MA 02110. Messages are sent from a dedicated toll-free number belonging to the building. These SMS Terms supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
How you opt in
You only receive texts if you ask for them. There are two ways to opt in, both inside the App:
- At registration — by checking the box labeled "Text me building updates" beneath the phone-number field. The box is unchecked by default.
- In Notification Settings — by turning on SMS Updates under Text Messages. The same switch turns texts off again.
When you opt in we record the date, time and phone number you agreed for. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of registering for the App, living at Millennium Tower, or receiving any building service.
What we send and how often
Texts are limited to building matters relevant to residents, such as:
- Building notices — maintenance, closures, water or elevator work, safety information.
- Event reminders — La Vie events, the Tower Bar, amenity programs you may have RSVP'd to.
- Valet updates — when your vehicle is ready.
- Owner business — meeting notices and voting reminders for unit owners.
Message frequency varies with building activity. Most residents receive a few texts a month; during an active event or a building incident you may receive more. We do not send marketing from third parties.
How to stop or get help
- To stop: reply STOP to any message. You will receive one final text confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further texts will be sent. You can also turn off SMS Updates in the App's Notification Settings.
- For help: reply HELP to any message, or contact the Management Office using the details below.
- To rejoin: turn SMS Updates back on in the App, or reply START to the building's number.
Opting out of texts does not affect push notifications, email, or any other way you have chosen to hear from the building.
